The Hoffman family commitment to Jeannette began over five decades ago. Bill Hoffman’s insurance practice started small, moving through the heart of town from 700 Lowry Avenue to 543, and then to 545. Each move represented growth and a deepening connection to the neighbors we serve.
In 1986, the Hoffman family purchased 800 Lowry Avenue. For forty years, this building has been a landmark of stability for the family, a place where milestones have been celebrated and a legacy of service was built to last for generations.
The foundation for Hoffman Wealth Management was built on these decades of local history. Growing up in Jeannette, Will Hoffman watched his father, Bill, build a business based on a simple, enduring motto: “Serving the community.” That commitment to the people of Jeannette runs incredibly deep. When Bill first started out, he purchased his book of business from a true local legend: J.J. Pacelli. To generations of residents, J.J. was a beloved teacher in the Jeannette City School District and the iconic “Voice of the Jayhawks” at McKee Stadium for 43 years. He was also one of Bill’s own teachers growing up. Inheriting that business wasn’t just a professional step; it was a passing of the torch from one community advocate to another.
Will grew up seeing firsthand that financial guidance is about more than just numbers; it’s about the people, the families, and the local businesses that make our town thrive. He graduated from the same schools and walked the same streets before eventually feeling a personal calling to expand on that family legacy.
